Nexus Sonance
Spatial audio installation, 2025. Solar data, a Georgian choir, and object-based spatial audio meet in one room: the collective's flagship work.

VizAion is an international immersive art collective working across spatial sound, visual art, culture, nature and technology. We make interactive art installations, spatial-sound performances, and location-based embodied works for galleries, music venues, public spaces and natural environments. We love to experiment with delivery form and the practices of future media-art creation.
Many immersive projects start and end on technology. Ours starts from cultural practices, embodied knowledge and philosophy, and keeps spatial audio, interactive design and visuals as the medium to tell and share stories that move and engage people.
The collective grows project by project, bringing together artists, scientists, technologists, communities and audiences. We push the boundaries of interdisciplinary art with a grassroots spirit at the core.
We connect worlds. The cosmos, macro and micro-biology, cultural phenomena and traditions: we translate them into autonomous systems and worlds that people can interact with and explore. Expanding embodied collective knowledge and awareness, and educating through art, is at the core of every project.
Research through practice. Our R&D runs on substantial field work, not only theoretical frames; the depth of a project comes from integrating many modes of knowledge.
Translation. From spatial-audio systems, sound-design tools, extensive MAX patches and real-time data-sonification pipelines to custom-built TouchDesigner interactive and audio-reactive visuals. We equally value analogue and older media – you remember cassettes and VHS? Through our network of collaborators and affiliated artists we always consider many scenarios and idea-translation formats.
Interactive and embodied. Our work gives these interconnected worlds voice, space, form and control, so the audience can explore and interact in a non-linear way. Each person can curate their own experience; those who prefer passive reception are equally validated, not excluded.
Accessibility & sustainability. From the start we design our experiences with accessibility and aural diversity in mind, and we always consider the sustainability of our delivery formats.
Technology is a tool - we challenge and explore what immersive art means through cultural practices, embodied knowledge, experimentation and creative use of technology; Our mission is to ensure that future art has human soul & DNA in it.
To us, immersive art is not only a spectacle you consume from a seat or ecologically unsustainable full-on LED rooms with content that tries to replicate the natural world around us. For us, immersive art is a deep and multidimensional world through which you explore relationships with existence, past, present and future. At its core it’s deeply introspective, experimental, exploratory and inspirational; be it through mediums of spatial sound art, visual art, archives, collective traditions, human stories, natural phenomena and organic systems. They are the meaning we are chasing.
From thousands year old vocal traditions explored through participatory work to cosmos data synthesizing and positioning sound real-time in spatial audio setting - technology is a vessel, not the point. We stay tool-agnostic and let the project decide, as it unfolds, what it needs. What we protect and value is the nourishing encounter between worlds and audiences through new technology that is sustainable, accessible, revelatory and universal. We are in search of wholeness through art, science, nature, humans and technology.
The collective works with and develops innovative capabilities across projects adopting a flexible approach to each one.
Investigating how non-human systems become something a room of people can share.
Object-based, room-scale sound – where the practice is densest right now.
Generative and responsive image that answers to the people inside the work.
